    7th longitude seafront

    Also called meridians, degrees of longitude are used to clearly identify a place on earth. Juist is crossed by the 7th degree of longitude and this is exactly what is celebrated by fancy plaques on the ground. West of the Velero restaurant on the beach promenade you will find the marker for the 7th degree of longitude. The other two markers await you on the dike near the harbour towards the airfield and on the sea bridge on the way to the sea sign.

    Den 7. Längengrad finden Sie auf der Strandpromenade. Wenn Sie bei der Strandstraße rechts (östlich) auf die Strandpromenade gehen und dort an der Strandhalle vorbei gehen, finden Sie den 7. Längengrad nach ca. 300 Metern im Boden eingelassen.
